Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres bring together an exceptional group of Doctors supported by an exceptional team of Nurses & Receptionists.  The highest levels of care for the whole family are our priority.

Dr Sheelagh Buttanshaw

Dr Sheelagh Buttanshaw commenced her practice as an Independent Medical Consultant at the Landsborough Medical Centre in March 2023. She is available on Wednesdays & Thursdays at the Landsborough site. Dr Buttanshaw is a Fellow of the RACGP, she was born in Ireland & has been in Australia since 2008. Her interests include Palliative Care, Women's Health, Paediatrics & Elderly Medicine.

Dr Ben Gricks

Dr Ben Gricks completed medical school at The University of Adelaide in 2018. He worked in hospitals across Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast and Gympie in the fields of General and Plastic Surgery, Emergency, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics before commencing work in General Practice. Ben has completed a post graduate Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine as well as a Certificate of Women's Health. Ben practices a 'Whole Person Care' approach and enjoys seeing children and adults at all stages of life. Ben is available to see patients for all general medical and mental health issues. He also has a specific interest in skin cancer management and performs skin checks and minor procedures. Ben has settled on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with his wife and son, outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, running and surfing. Available to see patients at Mooloolah Valley on Thursdays and Landsborough every other day.

Dr Kaleisha Hilborn

Dr Kaleisha Hilborn moved to Australia from Canada 10 years ago. She completed her medical degree at UQ, and then spent a few years in Townsville working in rural locations such as Mount Isa, Palm Island and Charters Towers. She then spent 2 years working in obstetrics and gynaecology in Bundaberg and various locations around Australia, before returning to the Sunshine Coast. Dr Hilborn is currently completing her Master's in Women's Health and has already completed her diploma in Child Health. Dr Kaliesha Hilborn has interests in womens health, paediatrics and minor procedures. In her spare time, Dr Hilborn enjoys running and competing in triathlons.

Dr Tha Aung

GP Registrar, Male, MBBS, Speaks English, and Burmese. Dr Tha Aung will commence with the practice in January 2023. Dr Aung will be available for appointments 4 days a week across the Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres. Areas of interest: Dermatology, Skin Cancer, Emergency Medicine & General Medicine.

Dr Laura Duckworth

GP Registrar, Female, MBBS, Speaks English. Dr Laura Duckworth commenced with the practice in January 2022. Dr Duckworth is available for appointments 4 days a week across the Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres. Areas of interest: Womens' Health, General Family Medicine, Paediatrics & Antenatal care. *Currently on Maternity leave for 2024*

Dr Kyra Funk

GP Registrar, Female, MBBS, Speaks English. We would like to welcome Dr Kyra Funk back from her maternity leave, and she will commence at both practices from February 2024! Dr Funk is available for appointments 2 days a week across the Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres. Areas of interest: Antenatal care, Contraception & Children's health.

Dr Thinushiya (Thina) Arulgnanaselvam

GP Registrar, Female, MBBS, Speaks English, Tamil, and Sinhalese. Dr Thina Arulgnanaselvam commenced with the practice October 2021. Dr Thina is available for appointments 2 days a week across the Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres. Areas of interest: Family medicine, Womens' Health, Paediatrics, Chronic disease management & Preventative health.

Dr Ruth McCracken

Dr Ruth McCracken commenced her practice as an Independant Medical Consultant at the Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres in May 2021. Dr Ruth offers medical acupuncture which can help a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to joint pain, headaches and perimenopausal complications. Acupuncture can be given in a variety of ways - both needles and non-needle methods, such as laser, heat (moxa), and ear seeds. It is suitable for both children and adults. Dr Timothy Stanger

Dr Timothy Stanger was born in the UK, completing medical school in Bristol in 2011. Dr Stanger commenced work in Australia in 2013 at the Tweed Heads Emergency Department. Since his move to Australia Dr Stanger has worked in various hospitals across Queensland and New South Wales before settling down on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2018. Dr Stanger attained his Fellowship of the RACGP in 2021 and conducts his practice as an Independant Medical Consultant from both the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres with an interest in all areas of general medicine.

Dr Robert Clarke

Dr Clarke obtained his Fellowship of the RACGP in 2016 and has conducted his medical practice as an Independant Medical Consultant from the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres 4 days a week since that time. Offering a wide range of general medicine to the community, Dr Clarke has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and minor ops.

Dr Deepika Bhat

Dr Deepika Bhat graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr Bhat continued to expand her education graduating in 1991 with a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and later completing her MD (OB&GY) in 1995. Dr Bhat commenced her practice as an Independant Medical Consultant at the Landsborough Medical Centre in early 2011 and is a Fellow of the RACGP. Dr Bhat was born in New Delhi, India & has been in Australia since 2005. She speaks English, Hindi & Punjabi. Her interests include women’s health, antenatal and paediatrics.

Dr Aung Oo

Dr Aung Oo originally practised at the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres from 2013-2015 before relocating to Brisbane. At the start of 2021, Dr Oo relocated back to the Sunshine Coast with his wife and two children and re-commenced his practice at the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres. Dr Oo is a Principal of the Practice and is available for appointments across both the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres offering all general practice services to patients.

Dr Guy Gentle

Dr Guy Gentle has been practicing at the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres since late 2019 and is a Principal of the Practice. He is a local to the area growing up in Caloundra. Dr Gentle offers a wide range of professional health care services to all patients of the community. Dr Guy Gentle Graduated from Griffith University, Gold Coast, with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2010. He gained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Dr Gentle has an interest in minor procedures, including skin cancer medicine, chronic disease and whole of life medical care.

Dr Shane Luland

Dr Luland graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr Luland is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Dr Luland is a Principal of the Practice, having commenced his practice at the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres in early 2009. Dr Luland was born in Brisbane, Australia. Dr Luland is a GP Supervisor, mentoring new and upcoming doctors in the practice. Dr Luland has an interest in skin cancer medicine and enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.

Dr Bill Meyers

Dr Meyers graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery. Dr Meyers continued to expand his knowledge graduating in 1986 with a Diploma of Obstetrics of Royal Australian College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Meyers was born in Sydney, Australia. Dr Meyers has been practising at the Landsborough Medical Centre since 1987 and became a Practice Principal in 1988. Dr Meyers found his interest in Medical Acupuncture becoming a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College on the 30th June 2004. Due to Medicare restrictions Dr Meyers is currently not accepting any new patients.
