Dr Shaye Davies

Shaye is a GP registrar who enjoys all areas of general practice and is passionate about building genuine connections with her patients. She has a special interest in women’s health, dermatology (including skin cancer medicine) and children’s health. Originally from Tasmania, Shaye studied at the University of Tasmania and has worked from Caboolture to Gympie before settling on the Sunshine Coast. Outside of work, you’ll often find her enjoying beach walks, sipping coffee or chasing after her border collie.

Dr Naz Sharifuddin - Website

Dr Naz Sharifuddin

Dr Naz graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 and has spent most of his training years on the Sunshine Coast, with particular interest in adult medicine and geriatric care. He has a focus on providing comprehensive patient care and takes great pride in his communication and diagnostic skill . Dr Naz finds satisfaction in providing healthcare in all areas of General Practice, including Women’s health, Pediatrics, basic procedures and chronic diseases.

On his days off, you can find Dr Naz lounging by one of our many beautiful beaches, up a mountain for a hike or tucked into a delicious meal at a nearby café. Dr Naz looks forward to taking care of you!

Dr Sheelagh Buttanshaw

Dr Sheelagh Buttanshaw joined the Landsborough Medical Centre as an Independent Medical Consultant in March 2023 and is available for consultations on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Originally from Ireland, Dr Buttanshaw has called Australia home since 2008 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She has a strong interest in palliative care, women’s health, pediatrics, and elderly medicine, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients.

Dr Laura Duckworth

Dr Laura Duckworth completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Leeds, UK in 2014 before relocating to Australia and completing her training to become a General Practitioner. Dr Duckworth works across both our Landsborough and Mooloolah Clinics. She is particularly interested in family health, children’s health and antenatal care.

Dr Timothy Stanger

Dr Timothy Stanger was born in the UK, completing medical school in Bristol in 2011. Dr Stanger commenced work in Australia in 2013 at the Tweed Heads Emergency Department. Since his move to Australia Dr Stanger has worked in various hospitals across Queensland and New South Wales before settling down on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2018. Dr Stanger attained his Fellowship of the RACGP in 2021 and conducts his practice as an Independent Medical Consultant from both the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres with an interest in all areas of general medicine.

Dr Deepika no background

Dr Deepika Bhat

Dr Deepika Bhat graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr Bhat continued to expand her education graduating in 1991 with a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and later completing her MD (OB&GY) in 1995. Dr Bhat commenced her practice as an Independent Medical Consultant at the Landsborough Medical Centre in early 2011 and is a Fellow of the RACGP. Dr Bhat was born in New Delhi, India & has been in Australia since 2005. She speaks English, Hindi & Punjabi.

Dr Aung Oo

Dr Oo migrated 20 years ago with his wife and married with two children. He trained in different hospitals in QLD which includes Mater Hospitals in Brisbane, Gold Coast Hospital and Nambour General Hospitals as a hospital doctor before jumping into General Practice.

He was a GP registrar in 2013 in Landsborough and Mooloolah MC and is now one of our Principal doctors.

His special interest will always be complex medical issues such as heart disease, respiratory problems, diabetes and other chronic medical conditions. He also has a great interest in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery.

As a GP, he will be happy to see patient with all aspects of general practice.

Doctor Oo is not currently taking new patients.

Dr Guy Gentle

Dr Guy Gentle has been practicing at the Landsborough and Mooloolah Medical Centres since late 2019 and is a Principal of the Practice. He is a local to the area growing up in Caloundra. Dr Gentle offers a wide range of professional health care services to all patients of the community. Dr Guy Gentle graduated from Griffith University, Gold Coast, with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2010. He gained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

Dr robert clarke 2

Dr Robert Clarke

Dr. Robert Clarke obtained his primary medical qualifications from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He subsequently practised in both hospital and private general practice settings in South Africa. He has extensive experience, including 10 years working in emergency departments and running his own private general practice. Dr. Clarke relocated to Australia in 2013, where he initially worked in an emergency department before pursuing further training in general practice to obtain his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Since obtaining his Fellowship, he has been working as a General Practitioner at Landsborough Medical Centre.

In addition to his primary practice, he undertakes rural locum work for 5-10 days per month in rural hospitals and GP practices to assist with the supply of doctors in these areas. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general practice, including care for patients of all ages and life stages. His professional philosophy is centred on a “long and slow medicine” approach, which prioritises thorough explanations for clinical decisions and a focus on shared decision-making with patients. He has a particular interest in incorporating natural therapies into patient care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Clarke has a wide variety of personal interests, which include small-scale farming, keeping chickens and bees, fish farming, and growing his own vegetables and gardening.

Jade

Dr Jade Dempsey

Dr Jade Dempsey is a junior doctor from SCUH on a short but exciting rotation with Landsborough & Mooloolah Medical Centres. She practices, supervised by the senior GP’s in the practice. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University in 2023, and has spent the last few years rotating between many different fields of medicine and surgery.

A true local, Jade grew up in the area and has recently made the move back home to the beautiful Sunshine Coast after studying and working in Brisbane, and is looking forward to exploring the beaches and hiking trails around the area.

Dr Jess Turner

Jess is a GP registrar with over 15 years’ experience as an obstetrician and gynaecologist. After graduating from Bristol Medical School in 2008 and working in Edinburgh, she moved to Australia in 2015.

She lives in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with her family and a plethora of animals and loves spending time in the great outdoors. She has a special interest in women’s and family health, children’s health, and working with patients to provide integrative care of chronic conditions.

Dr Bill Meyers

Dr Meyers graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery. Dr Meyers continued to expand his knowledge graduating in 1986 with a Diploma of Obstetrics of Royal Australian College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Meyers was born in Sydney, Australia. Dr Meyers has been practising at the Landsborough Medical Centre since 1987 and became a Practice Principal in 1988. Dr Meyers found his interest in Medical Acupuncture becoming a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College on the 30th June 2004. Due to Medicare restrictions Dr Meyers is currently not accepting any new patients.
